Today the Flemish Parliament debated the postponed September statement by Flemish Prime Minister Jan Jambon (N-VA). CD&V in particular had a hard time, and that because of the turn that the party – and especially chairman Sammy Mahdi – took in connection with the indexation of child benefits. Vooruit chairman Conner Rousseau already pulled hard against CD&V. “You have ridiculed politics,” it sounded, among other things.
