Roos Moggré would like to sit at talk show tables much more often

Roos Moggré wants to expand her function as a news interpreter by more often taking a seat at talk show tables, such as those of Jinek or Op1. “I hope I get the chance to do it on television.”

Roos Moggré’s ambitions are sky-high. This presenter of EenVandaag wants to become an important factor in the Dutch media landscape. She also emphatically wants to show more of herself. “I have had a column in LINDA magazine for two years,” she says in conversation with New Revu.

More Rose

Roos really becomes more and more candid in that piece. “I increasingly talk about topics that make me think: why am I actually sharing this? Childbirth, sex, you name it all. Ten years ago I would never have done that, but in a strange way it feels very nice to show a little more of myself.”

And now Roos wants to throw even more of himself on the street. “I really write the columns from my heart, something I hope I also get the opportunity to do on TV. At Khalid & Sophie I serve as a duo and therefore sit at the table as a sidekick. That fits in very well with feeling more about what I think and expressing myself more.”

New Eve?

Does this Roos perhaps have the ambition to eventually become the new Eva Jinek? “For the time being I am in a good position with the NPO. The news suits me and I would like to expand on that a little further. By joining talk show tables, but also by making documentaries, for example.”

She won’t let anyone put her in a straitjacket. “I like that I have an editor-in-chief who has no problem with that. If I want to speak out to Jinek about transgressive behavior, he is okay with that.”
