On the sidelines of the NFL Draft 2025, the son of Falcons Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich caused a sensation with a fun call at Quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Abdul Carter, who went to the New York Giants in third place, apparently was the victim of a nasty prank.
NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus revealed this to Adam Schefter from “ESPN” on Wednesday. Accordingly, the call came from Thursday to Friday on day one of the draft when the Jacksonville Jaguar was in second place. The caller said he was of the Jaguars and informed the rookie that they would choose him.
“It is unfortunate that these private numbers get to the people who make these joke calls,” said Rosenhaus: “Abdul and I knew that it was nonsense and didn’t even tell his family about the call.” Jacksonville, who had previously hit the second overall pick with the browns, selected Travis Hunter.
