For many years, Lego has delighted and frustrated everyone with collections of individual figures that are sold in so-called blind bags. A new series is released every few months, each strictly limited and therefore only available for a short time. The price for individual bags is not necessarily cheap, but they are real collector’s items.
In addition to an ongoing collection with themed characters, there are also special series, such as the “Simpsons”, “Disney” and the “Muppets”. If you want to have them all together, you can pay more than 80 euros for rivets – i.e. figures bought twice.
Amazon and other resellers have packages of complete collections that come with up to 20 Lego men also cost well over 100 euros. All figures are guaranteed for this. Individual copies are also available to buy at a significantly more expensive price. But it can be worth it, especially because many figures are no longer available in free trade.
Batman not so dark
How about a glam metal Batman for Christmas? The figure was released as part of the first collection series of minifigures (Series 1) from the really strange “Lego Batman Movie” in 2017.
This version of the Bat-Man is definitely the funniest of the collection, which also included Batman in a fairy costume and with a rubber duck around his stomach. She combines his classic appearance with an exaggerated glam rock style, including metallic armor and a flashy guitar. Clear case: A parody of KISS!
Anyone who liked the sarcastic touch of the “LEGO Batman Movie”, which was not only aimed at children, will have a lot of fun with this successful cross between the dark knight and metal energy as a small Christmas present.
