The American soul musician Lee Fields will return to Germany in 2023. As part of an extensive European tour, Fields will play two exclusive concerts in Berlin and Hamburg in February 2023. The exact dates can be found at the end of the article. There are tickets here to buy.
Fields’ new album “Sentimental Fool” will be released on October 28, 2022. As a final harbinger, he released the song “Forever” on September 14th. The video for the title track “Sentimental Fool” was released in August. The single “Ordinary Lives”, which has been known since January, is also on the album. Gabriel Roth aka Bosco Mann, founder of the Daptone Records label, produced the album.

Fields has been on stage since the 1960s, but even in his 70s he’s tirelessly touring the world. He is also known as “Little JB” due to his resemblance to soul singer James Brown. In his long career he has worked with artists such as BB King, Betty Wright and Bobby Womack. His last albums were created together with the backing band The Expressions. Most recently, his album “It Rains Love” was released in 2019.
