James Bay was born in 1990 and grew up in the small town of Hitchin. After busking in London, a friend made a video for him that quickly became popular on YouTube. Finally, in 2012, Bay signed to the New York label Republic Records. Since then, the singer/songwriter has released two albums and six EPs, drawing attention to himself with his poetry and passionate songs.
