Both Tallon groenpoor and Botic van de Zandschulp reached the second round in the Roland Garros singles this week, but the doubles tournament is already over for both men. The duo lost their first round match in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 4-6) against compatriot Wesley Koolhof and Briton Neal Skupski.

The Greek track from Nieuw-Vennep formed a duo with Van de Zandschulp for the first time at a Grand Slam. Despite winning the first set, there was no surprise. Countryman and doubles specialist Koolhof, together with his partner Skupski, finally won the match after an hour after an hour.
