Roger Waters, ex-Pink Floyd musician, will be giving 40 concerts in 14 European countries next year – and making guest appearances in five German cities.
As part of his “This Is Not A Drill” tour, he will be coming to Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt in May. He dubbed the tour “His First Farewell Tour” in Phil Collins fashion.
Waters plans to perform 20 songs, including “Us & Them”, “Comfortably Numb”, “Wish You Were Here” and “Is This The Life We Really Want?”, along with his new solo song “The Bar”. He will also present a new stage: in the shape of a cross with additional catwalks into the audience, which will be reflected by a 12-surface, three-dimensional LED cross hanging above it. What can also be expected: announcements with controversial political content, because the 79-year-old does not keep his opinions on the Ukraine war or Israel behind the mountain.
