Worries about West Ham’s Fabianski

Chelsea FC suffered a defeat for the first time since the end of October. In the London duel against FC Fulham, the Blues conceded 1:2 in the last minute. It was the Cottagers’ first win at Stamford Bridge since 1979.
Cole Palmer (16th minute) initially gave Chelsea the lead before Harry Wilson (82nd) and then Rodrigo Muniz (90th + 5) turned the game around in the final minutes. Chelsea remains second in the table with 35 points, Fulham is eighth with 29 points.
Out on stretcher: Worries about West Ham keeper Fabianski
There was a terrible scene in the Premier League game between Southampton FC and West Ham United: visiting goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski had to be substituted after a collision and taken off the field on a stretcher. The 39-year-old appeared to have injured his head. The injury initially appeared to be “concerning,” the club said. In the second half, Fabianski was able to sit on the bench again.
Fabianski apparently received an elbow from opponent Nathan Wood in the face after a corner kick almost half an hour later. The 57-time Polish national goalkeeper was treated on the pitch for several minutes. Southampton keeper Aaron Ramsdale also rushed over from the opposite side to ask about him.
Fabianski was eventually replaced by Alphonse Areola and brought out to applause from the crowd. The duel ended 1-0 for West Ham thanks to Jarrod Bowen’s goal, prepared by Niclas Füllkrug in the 59th minute. It was the former Bundesliga attacker’s first assist this season.
The game between Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur ended 1-0, Newcastle United beat Aston Villa 3-0 and AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace played in a goalless draw.
