Airsyn says he did not feel approved in the rainbow community before his transition. For example, he did not feel that he was sitting in the beauty standards of the community.
– The gay men were ruthless and nasty. I did not sit in a beauty standard that is slim, white, muscular or just in a really good condition, masculine, says Aitory.
Airsyn started hormone treatments and sex repair last November.

Airsyn also says in the interview that black women have had a big impact on his transposition process.
