However, both event companies are prepared. A spokesman for Rock im Park, which celebrates its thirty year this year, referred to an extensive security concept. The Nuremberg stadium and the exhibition halls are available as alternative points in the event of evacuation. Rather, however, fans have to adjust to a mud fight – the festival site finally consists of a large part of meadows, which is already close to the three ponds of the People’s Park. Musically, visitors are happy: Inside the sold -out event this weekend on bands such as Slipknot, Korn or Bring Me The Horizon.

At the Bergkirchweih, wooden chips were distributed on the floor yesterday and the stage and umbrellas were additionally secured. All trees in the area were checked for loose branches, another security concept was available. The city confirmed this. Since the Bergkirchweih continues up to and including Monday, June 16, the event is also facing good weather conditions.
