The rock on the Ring weekend 2025 has just come to an end, but the festival planners do not leave time: Already on June 10th at 12 noon, the tickets for 2026 went into advance and the demand seems enormous. One reason for this could be one of the headliners already confirmed: Linkin Park. As the organizer reports, 45,000 tickets were already out of stock after 60 minutes.
Rock am Ring 2025: record anniversary and a number of surprises
The 40th anniversary of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park was sold out in record time and a complete success. 90,000 visitors: Inside at the Nürburgring and 88,500 in Nuremberg experienced a weekend with strong headliners and surprise acts such as Electric Callboy, Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys and Kraftklub. But the biggest moment was probably the announcement by Linkin Park for Rock am Ring 2026. A moment that many fans had been waiting for and – probably – the demand for the next year.
The tickets for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2026 (June 5-7) seem to be in great demand: This year the pre-sale started with a total of four price levels and the “early bird” cards for 179 euros were sold out within a very short time. Just two hours after the start of sales, the next price levels were out of stock, so that only the normal tickets for 239 euros are now available.
Linkin Park and Rock am Ring 2026: It is official
The high demand is strongly related to Linkin Park. Since 2024 there have been rumors about the band at Rock am Ring’s band in 2025. These were no coincidence: Linkin Park celebrated her big revival with Emily Armstrong as the new front woman at that time and had also announced her tour through Europe.
When these rumors were officially put to an end, many still had the hope of a surprise show, but it turned out very differently: The organizers gave the headline slot Linkin Parks at Rock am Ring 2026 on Friday evening (June 6th) during the current festival.
