Tickets

All 90,000 Rock am Ring weekend tickets have been sold out since October 2025 – earlier than ever before. A weekend ticket cost around 239 euros without camping. With a bit of luck, you can still find resale tickets from fans from providers like Fansale or Eventim, although not always at the original price.

Parking & camping

Anyone staying overnight at the campsite needs a Camping & Parking ticket. All outfield campsites will open at 12pm on Wednesday, June 3rd and will be available until 12pm on Monday, June 8th. The spaces within the site do not open until 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Anyone who has other accommodations or arrives by car needs a parking pass. With the Weekend Parking badge, day visitors can park in designated parking spaces from Friday to Sunday between 12 noon and 5 a.m. the following day.

At Rock am Ring, camping and parking areas are generally separate. In the Car & Tent area you can park your car directly next to the tent. One Car & Tent Pass is required per car; Each person also needs a General Camping Ticket.

If you travel with your own camper, you have further options: separate ticket categories are available for caravan camping, which entitle you to access the caravan areas. The caravan ticket is required for all vehicles that are equipped with sleeping accommodation and are used in combination for camping and parking.

All detailed information and further options are available on the Festival website.

Site plan

An interactive map for Rock am Ring is available this year official Rock am Ring app available for iOS and Android.

Directions

Rock am Ring provides city shuttles that serve Cologne, Dortmund, Essen, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal as well as Koblenz and the Cologne and Frankfurt airports. Tickets for almost all departure points can be booked in advance via the Rock am Ring website. The only exception: the City Shuttle Koblenz – tickets are only available there on site. The shuttle bus leaves from the coach stop at Neverstrasse 8; Tickets are sold directly at the departure stop by the DB customer center in Koblenz. The ticket prices for the shuttle buses are between 24 and 38 euros.

If you travel by car, you should use the festival’s own app NUNAV instead of classic navigation apps such as Google Maps or Apple Maps. Some of the paths shown there are not accessible during the festival. NUNAV guides festival visitors directly from their own front door to the free parking lot.

Cashless payment

Payments will only be made cashless throughout the festival grounds this year. To do this, you register your ticket in advance and top it up with any credit. At the festival check-in, the ticket is exchanged for a wristband including a cashless chip – this allows you to pay anywhere on the Rock am Ring site without cash. The credit can be topped up at any time using the app and top-up stations on the festival grounds. After the festival, the remaining credit can be easily reclaimed.

Weather

The weather forecast for the festival weekend is not too promising so far: temperatures during the day are expected to be between 17 and 20 degrees, with mostly cloudy skies. Rain showers are also possible, both during the day and at night. At night the temperatures cool down to around 10 degrees.
