Ffinally tonight at 9.30pm we will know the ending of the drama Roberta Valente – Notary in Sorrento after the postponement of the last episode. So everything postponed until this evening. Roberta (Maria Vera Ratti) is taking care of the preparations for the wedding and above all the wedding dress. Stefano is increasingly distant and closed in on himself. On the other hand, the relationship with Vito is increasingly close: it is he who manages to make her overcome her fear of the sea. Leda would like to tell Roberta the whole truth about the feelings she has for Stefano (Alessio Lapice).
In the last episode, the notary has to deal with a touching case that concerns Vito himself. The lemon grove looked after by the fisherman for over fifteen years, in memory of his best friend who passed away as a boy, is claimed by its legitimate owners, who intend to sell it to transform it into a car park. Roberta tries to help Vito so that this massacre does not happen: the land could in fact be acquired by the boy through adverse possession. The problem is proving that you have managed it over the years. Leda (Flavia Gatti) is also on the case, using her not exactly orthodox methods.

How Roberta Valente’s last episode ends
Roberta is busy with wedding preparations, as well as helping Vito keep his friend’s lemon grove. Stefano, on the other hand, appears increasingly distant and nervous: he is no longer sure he wants to marry her. His heart beats for Leda. He admits to himself that he has started breathing since he met her. But Leda, after discovering the truth about the relationship between “her prince charming” and Roberta, no longer intends to see Stefano.
What will Stefano decide to do? It seems that the wedding cannot be canceled because it would mean bankrupting the family agency. Roberta’s lifelong partner withdraws into himself, doesn’t speak to his parents and pretends to have left for work to avoid confrontation with his partner. What will be his final decision? Leda has never managed to love. Even the story with Vito ended because he was unable to open his heart. Stefano is perhaps the man who opened a breach in her, but in the middle there is Roberta, the love of a lifetime.

Roberta Valente and Vito are getting closer and closer
While Stefano moves away from the woman to whom he has been linked all his life, Roberta approaches Vito. The notary confides in him about the crisis with her future husband, while the fisherman invites her to the romantic evening of the lampare. She accepts. In this complex emotional climate, Vito helps Roberta to reconnect with herself and for the first time, since the loss of his parents, to no longer be afraid of the sea. The open ending of the series projects directly towards a second season.

The controversy over the ending of the Roberta Valente fiction
At the last moment, Rai decided to split the final episode scheduled for May 3rd in two parts, shortening the duration of the evening. An unexpected experiment for viewers who perceived the decision as a break in the narrative rhythm, especially because the series had reached its most delicate phase.
The public went wild on social media. «I consider the choice to postpone the start of the drama shameful and disrespectful (…). “It lasted an hour, but aren’t you ashamed?”.
