Normally Robert ten Brink is the one who surprises people on television, but last weekend he himself went from one surprise to another. He even exclaims: “What the F*CK!“
With his program Mindf*ck, Victor Mids delivers episodes every time mind blowing are. Especially the tricks he plays on famous Dutch people are usually feats. Last weekend he played two tricks on Robert ten Brink, the presenter of All You Need Is Love, in the Christmas special of the program.
‘You’re crazy!’
We have never seen Robert so surprised on television. It starts in his own café in Amsterdam, where Victor astonishes him with a card trick. At one point the presenter signs a card that he puts back in a deck of cards, after which he shuffles it. Victor takes over the card game and then does something Robert can’t believe.
Victor throws the entire deck against the window of Robert’s café. And the signed card? It suddenly sticks to the window. But not on the inside, but on the outside (see below). “You’re crazy! This isn’t possible! What the f*ck, this is just unbelievable! It’s not inside! This isn’t possible! Is it?! It’s just bizarre,” he shouts.
‘This is magic’
How is this possible? Robert has no idea. “Yes, there is no second of this (his signed card, ed.), this is really him. Sorry, this is just magic. It’s really just bizarre.”
Later in the episode Robert also plays a trick involving his youngest daughter Suus. “No! Bizarre! Guys, this is… This is just a mindf*ck.”
“This Christmas couldn’t have ended better than this, so thank you guys.”
