When he returned to Dortmund, the exceptional striker is whistled on every action. The negative attitude of the fans was probably fueled by a discussion that was played after the first leg.

Robert Lewandowski was obtained from his own memories when I reunited with BVB – and was considered with loud whistles. The FC Barcelona striker was whistled at almost any ball contact at the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League in Dortmund.

Despite the 3-1 win of BVB, the result was not enough in the end: thanks to the 4-0 first leg victory, Barça moved into the semi-finals-Lewandowski was decisively involved there with two goals.

The mood in the signal Iduna Park was heated-especially when the ex-dortmund was on the ball. Lewandowski celebrated great success in the Borussia jersey between 2010 and 2014, among other things twice became champions and scored 103 goals in 187 competitive games. Then he left the club free of charge to FC Bayern.

Now the unfriendly reception at his ex-club. Lewandowski commented on Amazon Prime: “I have already played almost 30 games against Dortmund since I was gone. In the first games after I was gone, I never cheers after the goal. But after so many games it is something different. I always have great respect and a good feeling when I come here.”

Since his farewell he has scored 29 times against BVB-with just as many missions. Two of these gates scored in the first leg of this year’s quarter -finals. After that, the discussions about why the pole had cheered after these goals did not begin with the fans on social media in his goal against his other ex-club Bayern Munich in October.

The Pole: “I think what happened in Barcelona (goal celebration after his goals in the first leg, Note d. Red.), that also happens at Bavaria. “If he is more likely to meet his other ex-club.

To “Bild” Lewandowski added to the reactions, especially from the Dortmund south stand. “I understand the fans, but on the other hand the fans have to understand me too. I have shown so often how much respect I have in front of Dortmund.”

For example, when he wanted to go to Bayern, but BVB did not let him pull him. He did not get stuck in Dortmund in his last year of contract, even said goodbye to the scorer cannon.
