Mittelstreckler Robert Farken ensured the next German record at the Diamond League meeting in Oslo.
The 27-year-old ran the mile in 3: 49.12 minutes and undercut the 37-year-old record by Jens-Peter Herold, who needed 3: 49.22 minutes in 1988. Farken had recently run over 1500 m of German records.
Sprinter Gina Lückenkemper missed a toppage over 100 m. It was sixth in 11.16 seconds. The victory in the high -class competition went to Olympic champion Julien Alfred (St. Lucia/10.89). European champion Dina Asher-Smith (Great Britain/11.08) was third.
Gesa Felicitas Krause over 3000 m obstacle did not finish at her first competition on the train this year. Lea Meyer took fourth place in 9: 09.21 minutes.
