An electronics store on Kinkerstraat in Amsterdam-West was robbed this afternoon. Two armed men threatened the staff. After taking some loot, they fled on a scooter. No one was injured.
The two men were dressed in dark and left after the armed robbery in the direction of Overtoom on a ‘possibly white scooter’. “It is still unknown what the men took with them and it is also unclear what kind of weapon was used,” said a police spokesperson.
The police have been called and are investigating the incident on site. “If people know or have seen more, we would like to hear about it. Even if they saw a white scooter driving away in the area around this time.”
