A robbery took place at the Europarcs holiday park in Kaatsheuvel on Sunday at the end of the afternoon. A man walked into the holiday park office, demanded money and assaulted a staff member.
A struggle then ensued, after which the suspect fled. The victim chased the man, and then another fight broke out. The robber eventually ran off again.
The employee suffered minor injuries and was checked at the scene by ambulance personnel.
It is not clear what exactly the robber took. The suspect is a man with a dark complexion and dark hair. He is around 30 years old and has a muscular build. He was wearing a hooded sweater, a black jacket and dark pants.
The police ask people who see the man to call 112 and not to approach him themselves. The office has been sealed and officers will continue the investigation during daylight on Monday.
