The police have arrested a 25-year-old man from Bergen op Zoom for committing a series of robberies in the same city. It concerns a robbery of a night shop, a liquor store and a Domino’s. All those robberies were committed in one week.
The man struck for the last time on Monday evening. Around half past six in the evening he robbed the Domino’s on Antwerpsestraat. He forced an employee to open the cash register and ran off with the contents of the cash register.
Two days earlier he robbed a liquor store on Glacisstraat. The man threatened an employee and again ran off with the contents of the cash register. On Thursday, December 5, he proceeded in the same way at a night shop. Just after midnight he robbed the store on Antwerpsestraat. He also stole money there.
The 25-year-old man from Bergen op Zoom was arrested in his hometown on Thursday evening.
