The election battle in the Netherlands has turned into a neck-and-neck race between Rob Jetten’s progressive-liberal D66 and Geert Wilders’ far-right PVV to become the largest party. It will certainly take until Monday before all votes are counted. But with 99.7 percent of the votes counted, D66 seems to have the best credentials: the difference is now more than 15,000 votes.
