Rob Goossens causes a lot of misunderstanding for Tina Nijkamp. The TV authority really does not understand why the RTL Boulevard face was included in Ranking the Stars. “He is being laughed at!”
It is really incredibly painful: when Rob Goossens said ‘yes’ to Ranking the Stars, he was undoubtedly looking forward to washing the ears of a lot of celebrities, but just before the recordings it became known that he had cheated on his lover with all kinds of young chat mistresses. The result? Rob is currently being ridiculed episode after episode.
‘It’ll fly out!’
When Patty Brard indicates that he thinks Rob flies the least of all the candidates, Paul de Leeuw calls out in yesterday’s episode: “It will fly out soon, I think!”
Patty then: “I don’t think he’s going abroad to…”
Gordon adds: “Get some sunshine!”
Patty: “You understand! Hahahaha.”
Gordon: “Corpse and corpse white!”
Patty: “That he just enjoys the sun in his living room on his laptop!”

A little later it’s about traffic fines and Paul asks Rob a false question. “Rob, for you: how much do you pay when you text while behind the wheel?”
Candidate Sarah Jenneh: “Rob never gets fines. When he’s in the car with a date, he just puts an L on his roof!”
Paul: “Rob recently received a fine. His new girlfriend sat next to him without a child seat!”
Gordon: “He could also have been a wrong-way driver.”
Paul: “Yes, with his white face!”

Rob notes at the end of the show that he thinks faking an orgasm is unnecessary. “Then you just say: ‘I don’t feel like it anymore’, and then you go and read a book, right?”
Paul: “And in your case you are going to read them!”
And: “Rob doesn’t fake, his girlfriend fakes.”
In other words: Rob has become a bit of the laughing stock of the show. Painful, and very inconvenient for someone who has to exude some authority at the RTL Boulevard desk.
What does Tina think?
Tina Nijkamp, who is still an authority, finds it incomprehensible. “What can the participants gain from this laugh-or-shoot show, other than some money? Sure, I understand Glennis Grace, what else should she do? She will not get that many offers and her image was already in ruins after the Jumbo incident,” she writes The Telegraph.
“But why on earth does RTL Boulevard expert Rob Goossens participate in this program? To be constantly confronted about his adulterous chat behavior? And to be laughed at because Paul de Leeuw thinks he’s gay? Why are you doing that to yourself?”
