In the east of our province, the roads turned white here and there on Monday morning. The KNMI therefore warns with code yellow for slippery conditions due to snow until the end of the morning.
According to the weather institute, several centimeters of snow may fall locally. So be careful when you go on the road, the KNMI indicates. The warning also applies to Limburg.
Rijkswaterstaat agrees with the warning and calls on people to be alert on the road. Where necessary, the roads are gritted.
The snow will move to the southwest on Monday afternoon and it will become dry.
