News of the demise had been circulating for some time. “We are filing for bankruptcy ourselves,” Jansma Drachten board member Piet Heslinga said to his business relations. “We realize that this is a step with many consequences that will affect many people and companies. But we have no choice but to let the BV Jansma Drachten go bankrupt.”
