Rise of fire ants in Australia: already 23 people to hospital and dog died

The aggressive fire ant is increasingly advancing in Australia. After Cycloon Alfred, 23 people have already ended up in the hospital due to serious stitches and and several animals died after bites. Due to the crisis situation, Queensland has introduced an emergency plan of more than 22 million euros to curb the fire ant zones.
