Multiple Finnish long jump champion Ringa Ropo was very outspoken about his own upcoming anniversary at Storyville’s 33rd birthday.
– Nothing here, but it’s a bit catastrophic that it will be 60 years on Monday, Ropo smiled.
Ropo says the approaching rounds made him think a lot about time and life, past and future.
– I have been thinking about that quite strongly, it has surprised me. And without losing it deeper, I feel pretty happy. Black is wonderful when I have my children and an extremely good relationship with them. Then there are the grandchildren, I’ve had such wealth in my life.
After turning 50, Ropo didn’t really think about his age, unlike now.
– I have such a dilemma that the body is sixty, but the mind is thirty. I find myself spinning it. I still feel that I’m quite energetic, I’m developing things and moving forward.
Ropo has no bigger health problems than that. The knees were operated on a few years ago and it is now easy to move around.
Ropo says that he has learned over the years that life should be enjoyed here and now.
– Of course, you have to move forward, but lock yourself into it, and live in this moment.
On his birthday, Ropo goes with his children to Sofia Zida’s art workshop to paint and then eat. Ropo met Zida on the set of Petlotline.
Ringa Ropo believes that Finland will get three medals from the Olympics. Matti Matikainen
