RIN is back after almost five years: The Bietigheim native announces his new album “Nostalgia” with three singles and nine hall concerts. All information here.

Almost five years after “Small Town”, the Bietigheimer is back. With three singles in their luggage and nine tour dates in the calendar, RIN makes it clear: it’s starting again.

The initial situation

The self-confessed cake lover Renato aka RIN has been an integral part of the charts since “Bianco” (2016). With “Eros” he landed at number three in 2017, went gold and won the 1LIVE crown for best album. “Dior 2001” from the mixtape “Planet Megatron” (2018) reached number four in Germany and Switzerland, went platinum and is still his most successful single to date. “Neverland” (2019) repeated the feat — third place three times, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He described “Small Town” (2021) as one of his most important albums. He has sold over 3.8 million records across his entire discography. A powerful legacy that “Nostalgia” now fits into.

What can we expect?

With oddworld – the Düsseldorf producer duo consisting of Alexis Troy and Minhtendo, who have worked with Levin Liam, Souly, reezy, OG Keemo and arrest warrant, among others – two well-known accomplices are at RIN’s side. Both have been producing for him since “Eros” and are most likely also responsible for the new album. The starting signal for “Nostalgia” was “Bladerunner” in February – a futuristically staged relationship pain. This was followed by “Exit Through The Gift Shop”, the title of which is reminiscent of the Banksy documentary of the same name. Lastly came “Wach”, this time with reezy on board, oddworld on the beat again. All three share a sense of focus — less of a mishmash of genres than “Small Town,” more of a line. And that line sounds, in keeping with the album title, extremely synthesizer-driven.

You can see all of this live at nine hall concerts: November in Munich, Vienna, Hamburg, Berlin and Münster – December in Frankfurt, Zurich, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf. Tickets are on sale in advance. The album itself does not yet have an official release date. But the promo is on.
