The German suitcase manufacturer Rimowa works for a collaboration with ten brands.
Rimowa mother LVMH announced on Thursday that under the title “Vol.1”, Rimowa is releasing 27 newly designed versions of suitcases and bags that were created together with the brands. The brands are: 3. Paradis, About Dreams, Ashley Williams, Clot, Doublet, Enfants Riches Deprimes, Hood By Air, Market, Pizzaslime and Pleasures.
The idea for “Vol.1” came about during the pandemic when travel restrictions caused people to share photos of their Rimowa luggage at home, according to French luxury goods group LVMH. On this basis, the creatives designed their new designs.
The results were auctioned and donated to the Covax Facility, a partner of Unicef, who works for the fair distribution of Corna vaccines.
