Rijkswaterstaat: stay careful on the road

Rijkswaterstaat is again advising road users to be careful on Monday. The week starts stormy again and that means difficult driving conditions, says Rijkswaterstaat Traffic Information in a tweet.

Loose branches or objects from the previous storm may be blown into the road. “Adjust your driving style and be extra alert.”

Due to the strong wind gusts, the KNMI has declared code yellow for the entire country. In the course of the morning the wind will again be strong with heavy gusts of wind everywhere, along the coast around 100 kilometers per hour. The wind will only decrease in the course of the afternoon and evening, the weather institute expects.

Transport company Connexxion has announced that the service started as normal on Monday morning. On Sunday, it was halted in some regions due to storm Franklin.
