Riding mower gang made smaller, criminals first rang the doorbell | Inland

Seven men between 27 and 58 years old from Sint-Anthonis, Someren, Venray, Uden, Lomm and Wanroij were arrested. Special detection dogs have been deployed that look for large amounts of money. It is still unclear how much money was found.

According to the police, the gang ‘worked’ throughout almost the whole of the Netherlands, but mainly struck in Brabant and Limburg. “Often people were first knocked on the door and when they were at home they were asked whether they had scrap iron. If they were not at home, the belongings were removed without mercy,” said the police. Expensive tools, scooters, high-pressure cleaners and sprinklers were also taken from sheds. The items were then sold.
