FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)–Rheinmetall has received a major order for refrigerant compressors worth more than 770 million euros. This is the largest single order that Rheinmetall’s non-military area – specifically the Sensors and Actuators division – has been able to win outside of the classic automotive business, as the Düsseldorf-based group announced.
The industrial customer, whose name Rheinmetall did not name, opted for a refrigerant compressor model with DC voltage electronics, for which a long-term supply contract was concluded.
