A search is underway in and around Zuidlaren for a missing 71-year-old man named Reza. The search focuses mainly on the grounds of Lentis, an institution for people with a psychiatric condition.
Today the search was carried out with a police helicopter, search dogs and a search team.
Reza left on foot from the E 6 in Zuidlaren on Thursday around 5 p.m. At the time he was probably wearing a khaki or gray blouse, with a light gray waistcoat over it, gray trousers and he may be wearing slippers. Reza has a light skin tone, gray hair and black thick eyebrows.
Police say there are concerns surrounding the man’s physical health and are asking people in the area to be on the lookout. Anyone who sees him or knows where he is is asked to call 911 immediately.
