Retail Director International comes from Mango

Bobby Faas takes over the position of Retail Director International at Gerry Weber. This was confirmed by a company spokeswoman when asked by FashionUnited. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on the personnel.

He has been working for the clothing retailer since March, according to his Linkedin profile. In this position he is responsible for the markets in Spain, Belgium, Norway, Finland and Eastern Europe with Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Faas takes over the Retail International division from Lasse Siedenburg, who was Retail Director National and International. The other area is currently headed by Anja Hecht-Meinhardt, who has been responsible for the retail divisions of the Gerry Weber Group since February 2021.

Faas brings “experience in the international field in synergy with experience in the German-speaking area,” says Gerry Weber. Before he came to the company, he was the head of Germany at the Spanish fashion retailer Mango. Before that, he worked for Michael Kors for five years, most recently as Regional Director Germany, Benelux & Nordic-Baltic Countries. The 43-year-old also worked for Marc O’Polo as Retail Manager Benelux, France & Scandinavia.
