Response from Beşiktaş to MHK! – Breaking Beşiktaş news

The debate between Beşiktaş and TFF after the Pendikspor match continues. Black and white people responded to MHK via their official website.

Beşiktaş used the following statements in its statement:

About the Reply from MHK to the Application We Made Regarding the Injustice We Experienced in the Pendikspor Match

In the 76th minute of our Football A Team’s match against Pendikspor in the 2nd week of Trendyol Super League, the second goal we scored with Omar Colley was reported to the Central Referee Board of the Turkish Football Federation, due to the fact that the second goal was annulled by the side referee on the grounds that the ball came from outside the field before the end of the position. Our rightfulness has been registered in the reply we received with the signature of Ahmet İbanoğlu, Chairman of the Central Arbitration Board.

Chairman of the Central Arbitration Board, Ahmet İbanoğlu, in his reply letter to us; declared that it was wrong for the linesman to raise his flag before the end of the position and that the decision of the linesman had to be supported since there was no camera at an appropriate angle for the VAR review.

Our team is of great importance in the upcoming period, when the championship race will escalate, because an assistant referee with almost no Super League experience, in our opinion, maliciously raised his flag without waiting for the end of the position and boasted that the Turkish Football Federation benefits from technology and artificial intelligence at every opportunity, but could not place a camera at an appropriate angle. He was deprived of the two points he could have had.

In today’s statement, we would like to remind the Turkish Football Federation, which is grieving that they are following the criticisms made while the second week of the league is behind, that mistakes made at the beginning, middle and end of the league affect the clubs equally and affect the score sheet.

As Beşiktaş JK;

Until today, we have not been entitled, and we will not give up our rights. If our right wins in the 2nd week or the 32nd week of the league, we will show our reaction in the same tone and demand our rights.

Our expectation from the Turkish Football Federation Board of Directors;

While it was registered by Ahmet İbanoğlu, the Chairman of the Central Arbitration Board, that we lost points due to referee error and lack of technology; surrendering our rights without escaping the truth and hiding behind the scenes, and taking a decision to repeat the Beşiktaş-Pendikspor match in this direction,

Focusing on the main problems of Turkish football by leaving the advertising work aside, providing intensive training to the referees in order to prevent the efforts of the athletes sweating on the field from being wasted, and implementing the necessary technology investments quickly.

In addition to the statement we made in order to put an end to manipulations and polemics and to bring the facts to light, we hereby present the response text signed by Ahmet İbanoğlu, Chairman of the Central Arbitration Board of the Turkish Football Federation, for your information:

“The feedback form you sent has been reviewed.

In the corner kick used towards the penalty area in the 76th minute of the match, the assistant referee no. 2 follows the game carefully and where it should be for the position as per UEFA and MHK instructions.

He determined that the ball had completely left the field of play as of its position, and warned the match referee with his flag about giving a goal kick, and the goal was deemed invalid.

According to VAR protocol, the assistant referee must warn the referee after the goal has been scored or the ball has passed into the passive area. The assistant referee only showed a deficient attitude in terms of implementation.

In the interview with the VAR Referee, he stated that he checked the position from all camera images and from different angles, but he stated that he had to support the decision of the referee on the field, as there was no clear image in the records of the broadcaster showing the exact position of the ball.”

Ahmet Ibanoglu

Chairman of the Central Arbitration Committee
