They didn’t walk forty kilometers for four days. But in their own way, the residents of the Jannes van der Sleedenhuis location Wolfsbos did participate in the Nijmegen Four Days Marches. The residential care center in Hoogeveen had mapped out a short route every day in and around the home.
Just like in Nijmegen, we ran for three days, last Tuesday it was too hot. And everything has been thought of. Along the way, residents pass a blister post, refreshment post, stamp post and massage post. With today the big finish on their own Via Gladiola. With medal, and of course: gladiolus.
