Residents and other interested parties helped to plant more than 3,000 trees and shrubs. As a reward, the helpers received a piece of cake and a coffee.
Councilor for the Environment, Hans Knudde explains why the action is so important: “With this forest planting campaign we invest in the future of our municipality. More forests mean more biodiversity, more space for nature and a pleasant place for residents and visitors.”
