Reserved opens flagship store in Oberhausen’s Westfield Centro

The clothing chain Reserved is continuing to expand its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia. A few days after the announcement of an impending new opening in the state capital Düsseldorf, a further expansion step has now been taken.

The brand, which belongs to the Polish retail group LPP SA, plans to open a flagship store in Oberhausen’s Westfield Centro in the summer of 2025, the real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), which operates the shopping center, announced on Monday. Reserved will move into rental space there of around 2,600 square meters, which extends over two floors.

Martin Kanngiesser, managing director of the German subsidiary Reserved GmbH, explained the plans. “The store construction will be at the level of our international flagships in London and Milan,” he explained in a statement. “For me, the Westfield Centro is the most successful shopping center in Germany and I am very proud that we can design this very attractive area together with URW.”

Constantin Wiesmann, Director of Leasing Austria & Germany at URW, is looking forward to the designated new addition. “Reserved’s plans to open a cosmopolitan-level store in Westfield Centro impressively demonstrate the appeal of the location in the perception of international brands,” he emphasized. “With the new addition, we are once again strengthening the fashion profile of the destination and further differentiating the brand mix.” In addition, “this new lease optimally contributes to the ever-increasing relevance of flagship stores, where a brand in all its diversity is displayed in a spacious area can be experienced,” says Wiesmann.
