The ball will roll earlier this year if the police in Leiden holds someone with five stolen bicycles. The police do not report whether it is the owner of the bicycle shop, but the store on the Zoeterwoudeweg will come into the picture via the suspect.

At the beginning of February, 25 electric bicycles will be seized at that store. After investigation it appears that 19 of them were stolen. Moreover, during that investigation a shed in Aalsmeer will be in the picture, where the police will take a closer look at the end of last week.

93 Electric bicycles

There appear to be another dozens of e-baking bikes and e-bikes. They are seized, just like a number of bicycles in the Leiden store. In total it concerns 93 e-bikes, including 28 e-biking bikes, writes the Police on Facebook.

The police suspect that the bikes have been turned over, which means that they have received a new frame number to make them more difficult to trace. Together, the more than ninety bicycles are worth around 160,000, which means that the judiciary thinks there is money laundering.

The research into the bicycle shop is being continued. The police have informed the municipality of Leiden. This may take additional measures towards the store.
