Rescue operation for 10-year-old boy trapped in concrete pipe in Vietnam is still ongoing | Abroad

Rescue workers lowered a camera into the tube, but there was no sign of life. The authorities reported this on Tuesday afternoon. Helpers are feverishly trying to soften the earth with special equipment and make room to pull the concrete pipe, which is closed at the bottom, out of the ground with a crane. The army is also involved in the rescue operation.

The boy, whose name is Nam, had fallen into the pipe on Saturday at a construction site where a bridge is being built. The pipe is only 25 centimeters in diameter. According to local media, the boy had initially called for help after his fall. The emergency services repeatedly pumped oxygen into the depths.
