Rescue helicopters remain in Koksijde, but …

For example, the new government has decided that the rescue helicopters of Defense remain on the military base in Koksijde. And that is fixed in the coalition agreement. “What is perhaps even better is that we as a province weigh together in Brussels. In the coming years a lot will be invested in the army and defense, billions of euros. And a lot of that money comes to West Flanders, to Koksijde with the helicopters, but also to Ostend and Zeebrugge, where we will invest in the Navy for example. A lot of money comes to West Flanders. When we work together, we get much more, “says Loones.
