Last Monday, a 59-year-old woman was found lifeless in a parking lot at Nieuw-Vennep station. It turned out that she had been killed that evening as a result of a crime. A day later, the police arrested a 36-year-old Italian man without a place of residence on suspicion of involvement. The two would not know each other.
It is not yet clear to what extent there is a connection between the reports of the harassed women and the death of the 59-year-old woman. It is being investigated whether it concerns the arrested suspect, but nothing can be said about this at the moment.
Colleagues
The 59-year-old victim came from the municipality of Haarlemmermeer and worked for ABN Amro. It was striking that a colleague of hers, who worked in the same office, was found dead in one last week house in Amsterdam South. It is still unclear how she died. The cause of her death was re-investigated today.
Last week it was announced that… seems to be no connection between the deaths of the two women. According to the police, it is a coincidence that the two deceased women were colleagues.
