Report: Hertha’s substitute goalkeeper Lotka before switching to BVB

Goalkeeper Marcel Lotka from Hertha BSC will move to Borussia Dortmund next season, according to information from “Kicker”.

At BVB, the 20-year-old will play for the second team in the 3rd division. Lotka celebrated his Bundesliga debut for Hertha BSC on Saturday and made a good impression in the 3-0 loss in Freiburg despite the clear defeat.

His contract with Hertha expires after the season.

In Berlin, Marcel Lotka is actually only goalkeeper number five behind Alexander Schwolow, Oliver Christensen, Rune Jarstein and Nils Körber and has so far played for the regional league team.

But since all the other four goalkeepers were ill, injured or still in advanced training, the Pole made his Bundesliga debut.
