Report: Eintracht Frankfurt bids for Imeri – “Leave Servette through the big door”

Also OGC Nice tuned

Kastriot Imeri has apparently moved into the focus of Eintracht Frankfurt. Once again “View” reported, the Hessians are preparing an offer worth millions for the attacking midfielder of Servette FC. Imeri still has a contract with the 17-time Swiss champions until 2023. Weeks ago, a Frankfurt scout is said to have convinced himself of the qualities of the professional, who made his debut for the Swiss national team last November. The OGC Nice from France should also show interest.

According to the report, Genoa CFC had unsuccessfully solicited Imeris’ services in the winter. The right-footed player was able to increase his market value in January for the fourth time in a row to 6 million euros and is now one of the top 8 most valuable players in the Super League. He has had ten goals and three assists in 24 games for Servette in all competitions this season.

“The reason I’m still here is because I still have to work a little bit more to make that step forward. I want to leave Servette through the big door. It’s my city’s team, the team I grew up with. Two or three clubs contacted Servette in the winter. I could have left earlier, but I wanted to serve my time here, assert myself and fill my suitcase with experience,” said Imeri in the “Blick” interview and added: “The Bundesliga would appeal to me.”
