According to a media report, Union Berlin is about to sign the next top player! Defense stretcher Leonardo Bonucci should come!
The Köpenicker had reached an oral agreement with the long-time Italian national player Leonardo Bonucci, wrote the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Thursday on the X platform, formerly Twitter.
Bonucci is leaving Juventus and will sign a contract with Union until 2024 with an option for a further year. The 36-year-old will travel to Berlin on Thursday if everything goes according to plan. Sky Sport Italia also reported that the negotiations are at an advanced stage.
At Juve, Bonucci no longer plays a role in coach Massimiliano Allegri’s plans and was recently excluded from the squad. The 2021 European champion still has a valid contract with Juve until next summer. Recently, however, it was also speculated that he might prefer a move within Italy for family reasons.
