Reopening in New York with a new design concept

Swiss luxury brand Bally celebrates the reopening of its New York flagship store in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.

The doors of the 3,200-square-foot store will reopen after a major renovation, Bally announced on Thursday. Now the area at Gansevoort Street 58 is the first to shine with the brand’s new design approach. This follows the creative direction that was also shown on the catwalk of the Milan Fashion Week by creative director Rhuigi Villaseñor.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to research and source specific pieces from famous designers that have shaped my take on the style and incorporate them into bespoke furniture in a very organic and contemporary way,” said Villaseñor, who has been since January 2022 with Bally. “To me, this reflects the nuance between Bally’s enduring sophistication and the forward-thinking nature of the meatpacking district. We wanted the space to feel classy but also like a home.”
