Reopening at a new location in Frankfurt

Fashion retailer Mbcy (pronounced embassy for “embassy”) has relocated within Frankfurt and is now reopening its doors.

The store at Frankfurt’s Kaiserstrasse 23, which will open on March 19, will offer three times the retail space of the previous location, sneaker retailer Solebox, which owns MBCY, announced on Friday.

Mbcy offers a selection of streetwear and high fashion. The range extends from 1017 ALYX 9SM to Readymade and RRL by Ralph Lauren to Bode. Limited sneakers and accessories are also offered.

The aim is to “redefine the space between high fashion and upscale streetwear,” according to the statement. For the reopening, Mbcy is releasing a collaboration with the US sneaker brand Autry.

In June 2020 it was announced that Solebox would take over the Frankfurt streetwear retailer Uebervart. The name change from Uebervart to Mbcy followed four months later. The new concept is intended to offer the right clothing for the Solebox sneaker range and is digitally part of the Solebox online shop.
