The 32-year-old Renze Klamer has signed a two-year contract with RTL. He strengthens the late evening presentation team, which currently consists of Eva Jinek, Beau van Erven Dorens and Humberto Tan. Like them, he gets his own talk show; the first series of Renze will be shown on RTL 4 every working day throughout August.

Peter is happy

Peter van der Vorst, the TV boss of RTL, is very enthusiastic. “We are very happy with Renze’s arrival at RTL. He is an extremely valuable addition to our team of program makers and is versatile. In both journalism and entertainment,” he says in a press release.

He continues: “In both genres we will build a bright future together in the coming years. The late night show in August is just the beginning.”

Renze too

Renze, who presented the early NPO 1 talk show De Vooravond last year, is also enthusiastic. “After a few good conversations with Peter van der Vorst, I am sure that RTL is the place where I want to continue my career.”

“Of course I am very happy that I have the opportunity to make a talk show again. In addition, there is also plenty of room to develop other programs as a presenter and maker. That together ensures that I will start this new adventure with a lot of energy and confidence!”
