The Government delegate in Andalusia, Pedro Fernandez, has confirmed to Cadena SER that Álvaro Prieto left the Santa Justa station alone and voluntarily. This was recognized by Fernández, during an interview on ‘Hoy por Hoy Sevilla’, with Solomon Hachuel.

“He was offered the opportunity to recover the ticket he had on his cell phone, the same opportunity to contact his parents… Unfortunately, we will never know the reason why he did not accept that collaboration.”Fernández assured.

“In fact, when he leaves Santa Justa, and the cameras are there, he does it alone and voluntarily, no one forces him to leave, much less from a public station, no one coerces him, or pressures him to leave, everything contrary”he pointed out, highlighting the work of Renfe and security personnel.

“At no time did it lead to any situation of abuse”, towards a young man who “was a little lost,” said the Government delegate in Andalusia. In addition, he has also defended police work against criticism: “The National Police has worked intensely and professionally from the first moment.”
