René van der Gijp believes that Caroline van der Plas has become very sour due to her work in The Hague. “He was a positive person, but there is almost nothing left of him,” he says.
At the beginning of her political career, Caroline van der Plas managed to gain a lot of sympathy from the men of Today Inside, but there is really nothing left of it. In fact, the BBB leader pukes on the VI trio and never wants to be a guest on the program again. The reason? Things that were said at the table about her ex-husband.
Critical Caroline
Yesterday, during the TV debate on SBS 6 led by Wilfred Genee, Caroline also sent all kinds of critical tweets. “Wilfred Genee must learn not to be funny and blabber about it. He must lead the debate professionally. Perhaps the director of Het Debat van Nederland can say that,” she wrote. X.
And also: “This man asks a serious question about how he no longer feels at home in his own city and then Wilfred Genee and Frans Timmermans start to joke about the Tour de France and how fast you can cycle.”
Removed again
That tweet has now been deleted, Wilfred says Today Inside. “Then after a while she found out it wasn’t live and I think she took it down again, hahaha. Then I think she had another one.”
René van der Gijp doesn’t understand it: “Why are people all so angry?”
Johan: “I know, René. She became big in politics and when we were angry we all voted for the BBB and then she started to believe in herself, but she is of course a lousy politician.”
Positive person
René thinks that Caroline has turned very sour. “She is a nice personality. I saw her a few times when she was filmed at home and so on and she was a positive person, but there is almost nothing left of her. Isn’t it a shame that politicians do that to you?”
Johan: “Yes, but if you aim too high and you have to walk on your toes all year round, you will eventually fall over.”
Wilfred Genee: “Mona also makes a better and stronger impression.”
‘Immediately furious!’
Thomas van Groningen then reveals that Caroline was also pissed off at News of the Day. “Then she came in and mentioned the term VI once, well, she immediately flew into a rage. She really hated this program. She is a very sweet woman and after the Televizier-Ring I received a very sweet message from her. She is very attentive.”
Johan finally: “We have not received any message from her.”
