René van der Gijp still ends the year in which his marital problems came to light in the arms of his Minouche. The VI star flew to Ibiza. “Who are we going to pick up, Kees?”
It was not an easy year for René van der Gijp on a private level. His wife Minouche has revealed that he is so grumpy and irritable at home when Today Inside is on the channel that she no longer wants to live under the same roof with him. During his TV season, she therefore stays in her own house, while he lies on his leather couch wearing the goat wig.
Garden furniture
René and Minouche’s marital crisis came out through Evert Santegoeds’ magazine and it all made sense. The two even shouted at each other in his garden in Dordrecht and the neighbors were completely shocked. Out of fright, they immediately called the Privé, who then recorded it all.
Minouche has confirmed those shouting matches in the garden, but also acts as if that is just part of a healthy relationship. Can this marriage still be saved? Or will they soon be throwing the garden furniture at each other? Well, the prospects are good. René is going to take a day off from Today Inside, probably because Minouche has made it necessary.

René is now free every Wednesday and this seems to save his marriage to Minouche for the time being. It is very strange that the two did not celebrate Christmas together. She now has a video on Instagram in which she walks through the deserted Ibiza airport with her dog: “Who are we going to pick up, Kees?”
Minouche repeats that question twice more, but Kees is a dog and does not talk back. We do not see the moment when René enters the arrivals hall, but a little later Minouche does post a black and white photo in which we see the two toasting with a glass of alcohol.
They are already drinking for New Year’s Eve… Hiccup!
